For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Halle, Volkspark, Eingang Zentralbild Gerbeth 28.5.1956 Zur Woche der deutsch-polnischen Freundschaft Polnische Delegation im Bezirk Halle (Saale) Die polnische Delegation besucht bei einer Stadtbesichtigung auch die traditionelle Kampfstätte der Halleschen Arbeiterschaft, den jetzt neu renovierten und ausgebauten "Volkspark". Die Mitglieder der Delegation sprachen sich sehr anerkennend über das Geschaffene aus.
