For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Zentralbild-Biscan Jg-Qu 3.9.1957 Zu Ehren des 40. Jahrestages der Großen Sozialistischen Oktoberrevolution Baubrigade will 80 Tage Planvorsprung erzielen In Magdeburg werden in diesem Jahr im normalen Planablauf 1495 Wohnungen gebaut. Das Zentrum des Aufbaus liegt in der Wilhelm-Pieck-Allee, wo sich drei Komplex-Brigaden die Aufgabe gestellt haben, zu Ehren der 40. Wiederkehr der Großen Sozialistischen Oktoberrevolution, die meisten ihrer Bauten bis Ende des Jahres fertigzustellen. An der Spitze dieser Bewegung steht die Komplexbrigade von Willi Szukalkski, die beispielsweise das Haus 5 B bis zum 7. Oktober, dem Tag der Republik, fertigstellen wird und damit einen Planvorsprung von 80 Tagen erzielt. Brigadier Szukalski wurde schon zweimal Baustellen-Sieger im sozialistischen Wettbewerb.
