For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Zentralbild-Schmidt 21.10.57 Größter Gemüsegarten Berlins, Wo noch vor 4 Jahren die weiten Ackerflächen eines Volksgutes im Kreis Seelow von Landarbeitern bearbeitet wurden, stehen heute neue Wohnhäuser, eine umfangreiche Gewächsbauanlage, Produktionsstätten, ein großes Maschinenhaus- das volkseigene Gemüsekombinat Wollup. Auf 66 ha Fläche , auf 5 ha Fläche unter Früh- und Treibgemüse für die Großstädte angebaut. 7 000 to Feldgemüse und 1026 dz Metzt schon geliefert. Außer den verschiedensten Kohlsorten zählen zu den Kulturen u.a.: Tomaten, Radieschen, Champignon, Petersilie, Chinakohl und auch Paprika. Die Hauptabnehmer sind Berlin, Frankfurt-Oder und Karl-Marx-Stadt. Für die Angehörigen des Kombinates (112 Arbeitskräfte sind dort beschäftigt) wurden 5 neue Wohnhäuser mit 26 Wohnungen gebaut. Für die Lehrlinge wurde ein großes, modern eingerichtetes Lehrlingsheim errichtet. UBz: Das große Maschinenhaus des Kombinates erhält ein freitragendes Dach, wozu diese Stahlkonstruktion errichtet wird. |
