For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
LPG Hohenbruch, Bau eines Schweinestalls Zentralbild Bluhm 6.4.1959 Erster Schweineaufzuchtstall in Grossblockbauweise errichtet Um das ländliche Bauprogramm schnell zu erfüllen, wird vom VEB ( K) Bau, Oranienburg, im Bezirk Potsdam, für die LPG Hohenbruch erstmalig ein Schweineaufzuchtstall in Grossblock-Montageweise aufgestellt. Die geplante Bauzeit von 14 Tagen wird nach Auswertung der gesammelten Erfahrungen von ähnlichen Bauobjekten noch um vier Tage gesenkt werden können. Im Bezirk Potsdam werden darüber hinaus in diesem Jahre noch eine grössere Anzahl Rinderoffenställe in der gleichen Bauweise entstehen. UBz: Die Grossblöcke werden mit Hilfe eines Kranes montiert.
