For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.  Velten, Ernte, Dreschen
Zentralbild Martin Vgt-L 16.7.1959 Das erste Getreide. Am 13.7. hatte die LPG Velten im Kreis Oranienburg mit über 1000 dz Roggen ihre Verpflichtung dem Staat gegenüber erfüllt, indem sie ihr Soll und den Roggen für den geplanten freien Aufkauf abgeliefert hat. Diese Leistungen konnten die Genossenschaftsbauern jedoch nur vollbringen, da sie von der MTS Eichstädt im Komplexeinsatz der Mähdrescher unterstützt wurden. UBz: Drei Mähdrescher der MTS Eichstädt ernten den 17 ha-Schlag der LPG im Komplexeinsatz ab. Auf diese Weise schaffen die Mähdrescher 21 ha in einer Schicht. |
