For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Kruge, Reperaturkolonne auf dem Feld Zentralbild Martin 22.8.1959 Hochbetrieb in der MTS Kruge zum Abschluß der Getreidemahd und Vorbereitung der Hackfruchternte 28 Mähdrescher sind in der MTS Kruge, Kreis Bad Freienwalde, im Komplexeinsatz, um die Getreidemahd sofort abzuschliessen, die Felder zu räumen und den Boden für die Aussaat vorzubereiten. 13 Mähdrescher erhielt die MTS aus benachbarten Kreisen zur Hilfe. Zur gleichen Zeit bereitet die MTS-Werkstatt sämtliche Erntegeräte für die bevorstehende Hackfruchternte vor, um zum richtigen Termin damit beginnen zu können. UBz: Beim Komplexeinsatz der Mähdrescher steht ein Werkstattwagen bereit, um Reparaturen ohne großen Zeitverlust sofort auf dem Feld vornehmen zu können, während die anderen Mähdrescher die Arbeit fortsetzen.
