For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Usadel, Blick auf das Dorf Zentralbild Krisch-Stöhr N1-Zi 31.8.1964 15 Jahre DDR Bezirk Neubrandenburg; Neue Wohnhäuser für die Gemeinde Usadel Das einst rückständige Mecklenburg ändert mehr und mehr sein Gesicht. So entstanden in der Gemeinde Usadel im Kreis Neustrelitz zwei neuen, im Großblockbauweise errichtete Wohnblocks - auf dem Foto rechts ) mit insgesamt 24 Wohnungen für Genossenschaftsmitglieder, die demnächst bezogen werden können. 3200 neue Wohnungen entstehen in diesem Jahr im Bezirk Neubrandenburg auf dem Lande. Bereits 1963 wurden 80 Prozent aller neuen Wohnungen in Dörfern gebaut.
