For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Ingenieure am Reissbrett Zentralbild Kranitzki N1-At. 10.1.1963 Eine verbesserte Technologie für industrielle Vorfertigung von Neptunit - und Spanplattenwänden ...haben die Mitglieder einer sozialistischen Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Neptunwerft Rostock entwickelt. Durch Typenmaße für Wandsektionen mit entsprechenden Einfräsungen für E-Kabel, Schalter, Steckdosen usw. werden die Bauzeiten verkürzt. 5560 Vorgabestunden und 1750 Konstruktionsstunden können dadurch eingespart werden. Zusammen mit der Materialeinsparung ergibt sich ein Nutzen von insgesamt 65 345 DM. Bisher mußten einzeln konstruierte Gang- und Trennwände im Schiffskörper auch in der Werkstatt einzeln angefertigt werden. UBz: Die Mitglieder der sozialistischen Arbeitsgemeinschaft, die Konstrukteure (vlnr) Rudolf Hanl, Erwin Schmidt, Heinz Rotme und Lutz Meier beraten, wie die Verbesserung der Einzelteile für die industrielle Vorfertigung durchgeführt werden kann.
