For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Daskow, Düngung mit Kalk Zentralbild Karnitzki Nl-Gro 26.4.1963 Grünlandumbruch in Wechselnutzung - Bildung einheitlicher Weidegebiete in Daskow - Mit der Bildung von einheitlichen Weidegebieten haben die Genossenschaftsbauern der LPG "Freundschaft" in Daskow, Kreis Ribnitz-Damgarten, begonnen, 208 Hektar Kleinstweideflächen in fünf Komplexweideflächen zu verwandeln. Durch einen kontinuierlich durchgeführten Grünlandumbruch in Wechselnutzung auf den gebildeten Weiden wird eine wesentlich bessere Bodenstruktur erreicht. Gegenwärtig werden im Bereich I der Genossenschaft die letzten Hektar Wiesen umgebrochen und mit kohlensaurem Kalk gedüngt (unser Bild) damit das neue Weidekombinat noch in diesem Jahr seiner Nutzung zugeführt werden kann. Hierdurch wird nicht nur eine verbesserte Ausnutzung der gesamten Weideflächen erzielt, sondern diese Verwandlung bringt darüber hinaus eine Erhöhung der Milchleistung der einzelnen Tiere sowie die Verbesserung der Organisation und Möglichkeiten zur weiteren Mechanisierung mit sich.
