Erdölverarbeitungswerk Schwedt-Oder: Ein vorbildlicher Leiter seines Kollektiv der Taktstraße Rohwassergewinnung ist Ingenieur Otto Knauer (links), auf unserem Bild bei einer Besprechung mit Ingenieur Hubert Mischke. Bisher hat Herbert Knauer Verbesserungsvorschläge mit einem Nutzen von ca 300 000 DM eingerichtet und durchgesetzt. In Würdigung seiner Erfolge wurde er als "Verdienter Aktivist" ausgezeichnet. Bis 30. November 1963 wollen die Bau- und Montagearbeiter auf der Grundlage der überarbeiteten Zyklogramme alle Planrückstände aufgeholt haben und damit den planmäßigen Probelauf er ersten Ausbaustufe des Werkes am 1.4.1964 sichern."
