For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Wettbewerb im Pflügen Zentralbild Leipzig - Koch 22.5.1964 Leistungspflügen im Bezirk Leipzig. Der Bezirkslandwirtschaftsrat Leipzig und die Deutsche Agrarwissenschaftliche Gesellschaft, Fachkommission Feldwirtschaft, veranstalteten am 21. Mai 1964 ein Leistungspflügen, um den besten Pflüger des Bezirkes Leipzig zu ermitteln. Das Leistungspflügen ist im Bezirk Leipzig bereits zur Tradition geworden und führte bereits in zahlreichen LPG zu einer wirksamen Verbesserung der Arbeitsqualität beim Pflügen und damit zu höheren Erträgen in Feld und Stall. UBz: Der Leiter des Kundendienstes des VEB Bodenbearbeitungsgeräte Leipzig, Ing. Pechscek (auf dem Pflug stehend), berät mit Traktoristen über die richtige Einstellung der Anbaupflüge.
