For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Groß Nemerows, Blick auf Wohnblocks Zentralbild Krisch-Stöhr F1-Zi 31.8.1964 15 Jahre DDR Bezirk Neubrandenburg : Dreigeschossiger Wohnblock krönt Entwicklung Groß Nemerows Ein dreigeschossiger Wohnblock(unser Bild zeigt ihn noch im Bau befindlich) wird in der Gemeinde Groß Nemerow in Kreis Neubrandenburg zum 13. Jahrestag der DDR das festliche Bild des Dorfes krönen. In der modernen Großplattenbauweise wurden gegenwärtig 32 Wohnungen montiert und noch vor Ablauf des Jubiläumsjahres der Republik bezugsfertig sein. 3200 neue Wohnungen entstehen in diesem Jahr im Bezirk Neubrandenburg auf dem Lande. Bereits 1963 wurden 80 Prozent aller neuen Wohnungen in den Dörfern gebaut.
