For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Leitzkau, Bau eines Meliorationsgrabens Zentralbild Ritter kn 31.1.1967 Magdeburg: Meliorationsarbeiten in der LPG Leitzkau 13 Kilometer Gräben wollen die MItglieder der Feldbaubrigade der LPG Leitzkau, Kreis Zerbst, in den Wintermonaten ziehen. Unterstützt werden sie von den Traktoristen der LPG. Mit diesen Arbeiten regulieren allein die Genossenschaftsbauern auf einer Fläche von mehr als 100 Hektar den Wasserhaushalt des Bodens.
