For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Magdeburg, Schiffswerft "Edgar Andrè" Zentralbild Ritter 21.3.1967 Magdeburg: Schiffswerft "Edgar Andrè" schloß 100-Millionen-Vertrag mit der UdSSR ab Die Schiffswerft "Edgar Andrè" hat im Februar dieses Jahres mit der sowjetischen Fischerei- und Binnenflotte einen 100-Millionen-Vertrag, für den Zeitraum bis 1970, abgeschlossen. Unser Bild zeigt die kleine Helling der Werft. Die Magdeburger Werft wird bis 1970 u.a. 34 Seeschlepper und 6 Motorgüterschiff an die Sowjetunion liefern. In Verwirklichung ihres Vertrages bringen die Schiffsbauer einen neuen Hochseeschlepper mit 750-PS-Antriebsleistung auf den Wltmarkt, der die höchste Klassifizierung für den Einsatz auf allen Gewässern besitzt.
