Zentralbild Hesse 22.6.1957 Ravensbrück-Fürstenberg. Die Nationale Mahn- und Gedenkstätte Ravensbrück wurde auf einen Teil des ehemaligen Konzentrationslagers errichtet. Zum Gedenken an den heldenhaften Kampf der über 139000 hier eingekerkerten Frauen und Mädchen, an den bitteren Tod der 92.000 Ermordeten und den Lebenden zur Mahnung wurde ein Museum eingerichtet. UBz: Blick auf den Kontrollgang der unteren Etage.
