For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Altmittweida, Bewässerung einer Weide Zentralbild Thieme 14-8-1969 Karl-Marx-Stadt: "Schlauchregen" in Altmittweida Die LPG "Friedrich Engels" im Kreis Hainichen erhielt in den trockenen Wochen Hilfe von den Barkas-Werken und anderen Betrieben. Eine Pumpe und 400 Meter Schläuche ermöglichen die Weiden vor dem Vertrocknen zu bewahren. Die Südhänge erhalten jetzt Wasser aus dem gestauten Holzbach. Edgar Polster vom Dienstleistungskombinat Mittweida und Heiz Uhlmann von der Altmittweidaer LPG (1) beim Bewässern der Weidefläche. (Bitte, beachten Sie auch das Foto H 0814-06-1N
