For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Bernau, Gaststudent aus der VAR Zentralbild Koard 8.6.70 Freundschaft mit der VAR-Bernau-b.Berlin: Schule der Solidarität - würdiger Vertreter der Gewerkschaften der VAR - Khalifa Eman Ahmed - hier während eines Gespräches - ist Sekretär des Allgemeinen Gewerkschaftsbundes der Post-, Telephon- und Telegrafenarbeiter Kairos. Seit dem 27.4.70 studiert er auf der Hochschule der Deutschen Gewerkschaften "Fritz Heckert". In wenigen Tagen geht der Kurzlehrgang zu Ende. Khalifa Eman Ahmed ist beeindruckt vom Stand unseres sozialistischen Aufbaues. Er sagte: "Das wichtigste ist der Friede zwischen den Völkern und ewige Freundschaft zwischen unseren Ländern...!"
