For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Zentralbild Schaar 29.6.70 Bezirk Halle: Exakte Planvorgaben und das System der fehlerfreien Arbeit sind Grundlagen für die Werktätigen des VEB Plastmaschinenwerk Wiehe, Bezirk Halle, um die Aufgaben als Lieferant der Spritzgiessautomaten allseitig erfüllen zu können. In diesem Jahr soll die Produktion gegenüber 1969 verdoppelt werden. Horst Bergander, Jürgen Dorniok und Hugo Hickethier (v.l.n.r.) gehören zur Belegschaft der Endmontage, die den Kampf um den Titel "Brigade der sozialistischen Arbeit" aufgenommen hat.
