For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Rostock, Überseehafen, Traktoren, LKW, Frachter ADN-ZB Sindermann 6.9.77-Zi - Rostock: Steigende Transportleistungen auf der Schiffahrtslinie DDR-Finnland. Um mehr als ein Drittel erhöhten sich 1977 gegenüber dem gleichen Zeitraum des Vorjahres die Transport- und Umschlagleistungen im fährschiffähnlichen roll on- roll off-Dienst zwischen Reedereien der DDR und der Republik Finnland. Seit drei Jahren nehmen wöchentlich einmal DDR-Schiffe wie das MS "Inselberg" vom Rostocker Überseehafen mit Exportladungen Kurs auf Helsinki oder Kotka und bringen auf dem Gegenkurs hochwertige Importgüter zurück.
