Armeegeneral W.J. Tschuikow empfing am 10.10.1949 in Berlin-Karlshorst das Präsidium der Provisorischen Volkskammer der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik und den Ministerpräsidenten Otto Grotewohl in Anwesenheit des Außerordentlichen Botschafters der UdSSR in Deutschland W.S. Semjonow.
