For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Rodung, Holzschlag Zum Beitrag: Bei Forstleuten auf Zeit - Forstbetrieb und VEG helfen einander. ADN-ZB Müller-23.2.1978 Dieses Waldstück im Kreis Seelow (Bez. Frankfurt-O) gibt wegen seines ungleichen Wuchses für Intensivierungsmaßnahmen nicht mehr viel her. Darum wird es abgeholzt und im kommenden Frühjahr mit Kiefern neu aufgeforstet. Wertvolle Helfer bei der Bewältigung der Aufgaben im Winter sind dem Forstwirtschaftsbetrieb dreizehn Traktoristen und Mechanisatoren vom Volkseigenen Gut Pflanzenproduktion Lietzen, die während ihres Wintereinsatzes im Forst 250 Festmeter Nadelsägeholz und 400 Festmeter Laubschnittholz einschlagen und von sechs Hektar Wald das Unterholz räumen wollen (Bitte beachten Sie hierzu auch T0223-303N-305N)
