Deutsch: Zeichnung von Niklashausen und Gamburg (um 1530). Links ist Niklashausen mit der Kirche zu sehen, die auf der Zeichnung ohne Dach ist. Sie wurde 1477 zerstört; der 1518 begonnene Wiederaufbau wurde jedoch nicht vollendet und der Chor erhielt sein Dach erst im 19. Jahrhundert. Rechts von Niklashausen ist die Niklashäuser Mühle zu sehen; in der rechten Bildhälfte unten schließlich ein Flurkreuz, das die Grenze zwischen der Gemarkung des kurmainzischen Herrshaftsbereichs und der der Grafschaft Wertheim markierte. Oberhalb des Kreuzes ist - von einem Hagzaun umgeben - der Ort Gamburg angedeutet. Auf dre Zeichnung ist nur das zweiflügelige Taubertor eingezeichnet; das Mühltor, das Krappentor und das Tor zur Flur fehlen. Die Gamburg selbst (hier als Schloss bezeichnet) ist überdimensioniert dargestellt, Palais und Burgkapelle fehlen auf der Zeichnung, obwohl sie zur Entstehungszeit schon vorhanden waren. Die Turmuhr am Bergfried hat vermutlich nie existiert. (Originalformat 30 × 43 cm) |
