| Description |
Nederlands: Burgemeester Palingstraat 6, met aan de achterkant de Verdoesstraat, de Julianaschool, een HEAO school. Gezicht op de voorgevel. Voorheen de Julianaschool, een lagere school uit 1929. In de jaren vijftig werd de school uitgebreid met een afdeling uitgebreid lager onderwijs (ULO). Daarna werd het een ULO. In 1968 werd de ULO afgeschaft door de mammoetwet en werd de school een MAVO, middelbaar algemeen voortgezet onderwijs. In de jaren tachtig was de school een HEAO, Hoger Economisch en Administratief onderwijs. Dit werd gezien als hoger beroeps onderwijs en in de jaren negentig hoorde de school bij de Hogeschool Alkmaar. Na de sloop in 1999 werden de tegels hergebruikt, o.a. in het toilet van een huis aan de Kennemerstraatweg. |
