BURGUI

Desde Burgui se puede observar una magnífica panorámica de los montes del valle, a sus pies el Ezka se adentra en la llamada Foz de Burgui, tallada entre las sierras de Illón y de La Peña y, al fondo, se divisan las cumbres de la Sierra de San Miguel.

Posee también un bello puente medieval por el que vuelven a pasar cada año las almadías recordando el antiguo quehacer maderero de muchas gentes del valle (esta fiesta se celebra todos los años hacia el 1 de mayo).

Tiene elementos arquitectónicos de gran belleza como la Nevera ("nivera" medieval situada en el camino a la Foz) recientemente recuperada.

En la parte alta del pueblo se encuentra la Iglesia de San Pedro, del siglo XVI, destacando en su interior el viejo órgano del monasterio de Leire.
