Summary[edit]
DescriptionBurning Man 2013 Church Trap, Burning down (9660393320).jpg |
Later that week, we saw our beloved Church Trap burn. We met the artist and his wife beforehand. He'd built the church out of recycled fence slats gathered from his neighbors in LA. She was happy it wouldn't be coming back to live in their front yard. I was surprised to discover how much more meaningful all the art became when we knew it would soon burn to the ground. Be here or you'll never see it.
