| Description |
English: Site of Burry Port (Burry Port & Gwendraeth Valley) Station. View eastward, at probable site of Burry Port (BP&GV) Station? The view seems to be eastward towards Llanelli, the visible tracks being those of the ex-Great Western South Wales main line, Swansea - Llanelli - Carmarthen etc. The passenger service on the BP&GV line, Cwmmawr - Burry Port ceased on 21/9/53, but minerals were conveyed, including on to Llanelli Docks, until about 1991. [I would welcome suggestions to clarify this one!] |
