English: Built circa 1940, this Tudor Revival-style cottage was once the home of the Burton family. The house features a jerkinhead, or clipped gable roof, a buff brick exterior, front gables, a catslide at the larger front gable, casement and six-over-six double-hung windows, a front door below a small gable, aluminum awnings, a concrete base patterned to look like stone block, a side screened-in porch, and a brick chimney next to the front door. The house is a contributing structure in the College Street Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, but is mislabeled as 1619 College Street, when it is, in fact, at 1622 College Street. No house exists at the address 1619 College Street in Newberry.
