Object history purchased by National Museum in Warsaw (MNW) from Stadtische Kupferstichsammlung collection, Szczecin
Notes The Bathers, small plate (Les baigneurs, petit planche) from L'Album d'Estampes Originales de la Galerie Vollard was commissioned by Ambroise Vollard, French art dealer. As in his paintings the artist depicted characteristic small brushstrokes used to create planes of color simplifying nature to its essential forms.
