Description
English: Capparis divaricata Lamk.

Large , much branched shrubs or small trees ; branchlets tomentose . Stipular spines curved . Leaves elliptic to linear – lanceolate, acuminate , entire, glabrous . Flowers solitary , axillary or 2-3 together. Pedicels 1- 2.5 cm. long. Sepals elliptic, boot shaped. Petals dull yellowish , acuminate or rounded. at apex . Stamens many ;filaments yellowish with reddish base . Gynophoer 1.5-2.5cm long glabrous Ovary ovoid glabrous . Fruit on woody stalk, globose , beaked . red , longitudinally ribbed and worty .
