| Description |
Nederlands: Foto. Deze groep van het landschap Ngada op het eiland Flores kwam niet net terug uit een oorlog en stond ook niet op punt ten oorlog te trekken. Ze staan wel op punt een 'oorlogsdans' te beginnen. Ze hebben daarvoor een steekproef van het wapentuig meegebracht waarover ze beschikten: lansen, klewangs, geweren (ouderwetse achterladers) en schilden van buffelhuid. Het buffelmotief is ook terug te vinden in de karbouwenhorens die dienen als versiering van het huis. Vermoedelijk geven ze de bij rituelen geslachte dieren weer.
