Description
Français : Viaduc de la ligne du funiculaire du pic du Jer à Lourdes (Hautes-Pyrénées) peu après sa mise en service en 1900. Au milieu de ce viaduc se trouve le dispositif d'évitement (pour le croisement des cabines montante et descendante). Sur la carte postale, deux cabines s'apprêtent à se croiser. À l'arrière-plan, à gauche, vue sur l'extrémité sud de la ville de Lourdes.
English: Viaduct of the Pic du Jer funicular line in Lourdes (Hautes-Pyrénées) shortly after it went into service in 1900. In the middle of this viaduct is the avoidance device (for the crossing of the ascending and descending cabins). On the postcard, two cabins are about to cross. In the background, to the left, view on the southern end of the city of Lourdes.
