| Description | Front and back view of a pre-printed monthly ticket for commuting workers (dělnická jízdenka), issued by ticket offices of Czechoslovak State Railways (ČSD) in 1980s. This type of ticket was sold at a heavy discount from standard fare only to passengers commuting to work (based on a special picture ID issued annually by a designated train station closest to their registered residence and stamped by an HR department of an employer). In 1990, this ticket was replaced by a "line ticket" (traťová jízdenka), allowing multiple rides along the same route within a specific period regardless of purpose and without ID. |
