Português: As chuvas, além de alegrarem a vida do sertanejo no Piauí com a cheia das barragens e açudes, também estão retomando o encanto dos parques ecológicos. A Cachoeira do Urubu é um dos exemplos. Localizada entre as cidades de Esperantina e Batalha, no norte piauiense, ela já mostra um cenário diferente com a força do rio Longá.
Localizada a 180 km de Teresina, no Parque Ecológico Cachoeira do Urubu, inaugurado em 1993, ela recebe visitantes principalmente no primeiro semestre do ano, meses de chuvas em que as águas são mais fortes, um incremento ao espetáculo da natureza. Nos últimos meses, por conta da seca no rio Longa, o que se via era um cenário de desolação do local, com poucas águas e abandono do Parque. Mas com os índices de chuva do mês de janeiro, as águas começaram a ficar mais fortes. |
