Description
Català: Cal Fuster de les Figueres (antic celler d'art), al carrer de l'Art, a la Pobla de Claramunt. Edifici situat al barri de les Figueres. Consta de planta baixa i tres pisos, amb teulada a dues aigües. Les cantoneres són fetes amb carreus de pedra picada. El portal és adovellat, d'arc escarser. A l'escala exterior que baixa al soterrani hi ha unes rajoles de ceràmica que representen la Mare de Déu de la Llet i el Sant Crist Vell. Destaca pels esgrafiats de la façana i per les rajoles que representen la Mare de Déu de la Llet i el Sant Crist Vell. El 1950 fou creada una activitat de construcció, decoració i restauració de mobles d'estil popular català amb obradors a Ars Populi i al Celler d'Art de Cal Fuster de les Figueres, d'on sortiren experts artesans. L'any 1964 el casal va ser adquirit, restaurat i convertit en museu per Jaume Gavarró i va tenir una gran activitat cultural durant els anys següents. Actualment és propietat de l'Ajuntament.
