Español: En esta foto se pueden observar las típicas calaveras de azúcar de Día de Muertos, las cuales se ponen en las ofrendas de los familiares o conocidos fallecidos. Estas calaveras de azúcar simbolizan a las personas fallecidas, por lo que es usual que lleven en la frente un papel con su nombre. Se pueden apreciar dos cosas interesante en esta foto, la primera es que hay otro tipo de calaveras, de chocolate. Estas calaveras surgen de la necesidad de variar la tradición a fin de que esta no desaparezca, esto va de la mano con la segunda observación de la foto. Arriba de las calaveras de azúcar se pueden apreciar otro tipo de adornos, que se realcionan con Halloween. Hoy en día se pude ver que la tradición del día de muertos se ha ido olvidando, siendo sustituida por Halloween. Como lo explica "Luis Jiménez, Director General de Grupo Jiménez, empresa dedicada a la elaboración de las calaveras de azúcar por cerca de 100 años" (Palabras Aparte) la pérdida de esta tradición ha generado la disminución en la elaboración de estos dulces.
