Summary[edit]

Description Pinnacles National Park is one of five California Condor Recovery Plan release sites, and a great place to see the rare birds in their natural habitat. From the High Peaks Trail, the Condors are easily spotted drifting amidst the rock spires and canyon walls, occasionally settling on one of the outcrops, as California Condor #25 is seen doing here. The park is home to 32 of the Critically Endangered birds, protecting a significant portion of the estimated 226 that exist in the wild. [Canon 6d / 70-300mm]
