Italiano: Fungo Cantharellus cinereus. L'imenio di questo fungo è caratterizzato piuttosto che da lamelle, da pliche venose con ramificazioni, dette anastomosi. Questo fungo è caratteristico dei boschi di latifoglie con particolare preferenza per i castagneti ed i terreni calcarei; il suo ritrovamento non è frequente.
English: Cantharellus cinereus, under chestnut trees on Monte Rocca Romana. The hymenium of this mushroom is characterized rather than by lamellae, by highly branched venous folds, called anastomoses. This mushroom is characteristic of broad-leaved woods with a particular preference for chestnut groves and calcareous soils; its finding is not frequent.
