Description
English: Planta nativa de Norteamérica en Nuevo México, México, Utah y Kansas. Cylindropuntia imbricata es muy común ya que fragmentos del tallo son dispersados fácilmente por el ganado. Su área de distribución y la población es probable que aumenten con la ganadería. En el sur del desierto de Chihuahua, la especie se encuentra en densidades de 35 individuos por hectárea.
