Description
English: Altarpiece of Monastery of Saint Zoilo in Carrión de los Condes (Palencia, Castile and León). Up to the right shows the sarcophagus of the Countess Teresa Peláez, most notably Ms beneficent and protective not only of the monastery of San Zoilo. He died in 1093 and his tomb, which is preserved in the monastery of San Zoilo, reads as follows: Faemina chara Deo jacet hoc sepulchro, quæ Commitisa tumulta fuit, nomine Tarasia. Hæc mensis Iunis fifth sub transit IDEs. Omnis eam merit plangere debet homo. Ecclesiam pontem peregrinis optimal tecta fecit, sibi, largaque pauperibus sparing. DoNet ei regnum permanet per ævum, quimanet & trinus regnat omne quod ubique Deus. It was T.C.XXXI, meaning: "A woman loved by God lies in this tomb, which was Countess of name Teresa." He died on June 9. Worthy of all her cry, lifted the Church and the bridge for the pilgrims, be sparing with them and generous with the poor. This inscription is the one that collects Sandoval and this her play Masdeu, which reproduces Morales is altered, especially on the date.

Arriba a la derecha se aprecia el sarcófago de la condesa D.ª Teresa Peláez, la más notable protectora y bienhechora no sólo del monasterio de San Zoilo. Falleció en 1093 y su sepulcro, que se conserva en el monasterio de San Zoilo, dice así: Faemina chara Deo jacet hoc tumulta sepulchro, quæ Commitisa fuit, nomine Tarasia. Hæc mensis Iunis sub quinto transit Idus. Omnis eam merito plangere debet homo. Ecclesiam pontem peregrinis optima tecta fecit, parca sibi, largaque pauperibus. Donet ei regnum quod permanet omne per ævum, quimanet & trinus regnat ubique Deus. Era T.C.XXXI, es decir: «Una mujer amada por Dios yace en este sepulcro, que fue condesa de nombre Teresa. Falleció el día nueve de junio. Digna de que todos la lloren, levantó la iglesia y el puente para los peregrinos, siendo parca consigo y generosa con los pobres. Dios trino, que está y reina en todas partes, le dé el Reino eterno. Era 1131» (año 1093). Esta inscripción es la que recoge Sandoval y de este la reproduce Masdeu, pues la que reproduce Morales está alterada, sobre todo en la fecha.
