English: Casa Bartomeu Biosca, Igualada
Català: Casa Bartomeu Biosca, Igualada. Edifici situat a la cantonada de la rambla Nova amb el carrer Garcia Fossas, de reminiscències modernistes, sobretot decoratives, construït l’any 1927 per l’arquitecte Ramon Frexé Mallofré. La seva principal característica és la resolució d’adaptació a la cantonada, aconseguida amb balcons que van disminuint de longitud a mesura que anem pujant. L’angle de l’edifici és ocupat per una tribuna, coronada per un cupulí de ceràmica vidriada, disposada en forma d’escates de peix., rematat per un floró acabat per un penell de forja. La construcció presenta diverses fórmules constructives a l’hora de resoldre les obertures a l’exterior. |
