English: Cassland Crescent, South Hackney When these fine houses were built in Victoria's reign, they were right at the top end of the market, and, incredibly, some of them have remained in single-family ownership and avoided being divided into flats. This is a conservation area of the Borough of Hackney, enhanced by the fine plane trees in the Crescent gardens. |
