Description
The section from the apostle windows shows a sailing ship with billowed white sails in the uppermost zone. The ship, like the key, is a well-known attribute of Peter. The world ruler is enthroned on the right, an allusion to John's first vision. Next to it, an angel holds the demon, as the life story of the Holy Apostle James the Elder in the Legenda aurea relates. On the far right, St Andrew's cross recalls the sacrificial death of St Andrew.
