Italiano: Glorioso reggimento, connubio di capacità tecniche e militari, protagonista delle eroiche vicende dell'Arma del Genio, si è adoperato in molteplici e rischiosi teatri operativi. I guastatori dell'8 ° si sono prodigati, in ogni circostanza, con intrepido coraggio e indomito valore, garantendo la protezione, la mobilità e la libertà d'azione delle forze sul terreno, attraverso il ripristino della viabilità e la bonifica di aree e di itinerari da mine e da letali ordigni improvvisati. Gli uomini e le donne dell'unità, sorretti da nobili ideali, hanno scritto memorabili pagine di silenziosa abnegazione della storia del reparto, contribuendo ad accrescere il lustro e il prestigio dell'Italia e delle sue Forze Armate in campo internazionale.
