Description
Español: Figura 1. B) Izquierda: esquema de una célula de Purkinje (PC, verde) con una célula en cesta inervante (BC, rojo).

Derecha: la tinción de Golgi-Cox revela la intrincada inervación de los axones de las células en cesta en el soma de las células de Purkinje y el segmento inicial del axón (AIS). Los colaterales ascendentes no se aprecian fácilmente aquí. Los axones de las células en cesta inicialmente forman contactos de ramificación en los somas de las células de Purkinje, creando una forma de cesta (corchete izquierdo). Al llegar al AIS, los axones extienden ramas terminales que convergen para formar el pinceau (corchete derecho).

La barra de escala es de 15 μm.
