Summary[edit]
DescriptionCemmes Road railway station (site), Powys (geograph 4680581).jpg |
English: Cemmes Road railway station (site), Powys Opened in 1863 by the Newtown and Machynlleth Railway, which very soon became part of the Cambrian Railway empire, this station closed in 1965. It always used the English version of the nearby village name. View south west toward Machynlleth. The station building is still extant but hidden by the trees to the left of the line - see SH8104 : Cemmes Road railway station (site), Powys. The goods shed used to occupy the bare patch of land in the centre of the image. |
