| Description |
Native, warm-season, perennial, erect, densely tufted, coarse grass to 1.5 m tall. Leaves are coarse and rough to the touch, with short and densely hairy ligules. Found in damp areas, such as seepage areas on hillslopes, along drainage lines and on poorly drained flats. Especially common on poorly drained heavy black clays in the Richmond Valley. |
