Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Centre Point Centre Point stands on the corner of Charing Cross Road and New Oxford Street, but it is seen here through the bare trees of Soho Square. The 117 metre tall building, with 35 floors, was designed by Richard Seifert and completed in 1964. For many years it was controversially kept empty because its owners could avoid paying rates and rely on booming property prices to make it one of the most profitable buildings ever built. Today, however, the block is fully occupied and is grade II listed.
