| Description |
English: Centre Point from Oxford Street. The 35-storey office block is at the junction of Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Street. Built in 1964 designed by Seifert, it became notorious as it was kept empty, not paying rates as its value increased. It is now the headquarters of the CBI (Confederation of British Industry). The photo is taken looking east along Oxford Street. |
