English: Reportage Centre de Physique Théorique (CPHT)
Coupe de Poincaré du champ magnétique lors d’une phase de reconnexion brutale dans un tokamak, simulée par le code XTOR. Ces reconnexions ne durent qu’une centaine de microsencondes et ont lieu avec une période de l’ordre de la centaine de millisecondes. Leur simulation permet d’étudier leurs effets à la fois négatifs et positifs sur le confinement du plasma, en vue de l’application à la production d’énergie par fusion nucléaire contrôlée.
