Français : Château du XVIIème dont la partie la plus ancienne est la tourelle d'angle ornée de la salamandre et d'un phénix, vestige du bâtiment du XVème qui servait de dépôt aux équipages de François 1er.
Henri II et Catherine de Médicis y logent pendant la construction du château neuf de St Germain En Laye. Le château est ensuite habité par Antoine Le Moyne, seigneur du Mesnil. Avant la Révolution, le comte d'Artois en était propriétaire. Le fief fut confisqué et cédé à un créancier du comte. Les bâtiments transformés en ferme pour l'exploitation du domaine sont devenus maison de campagne au XIXème. En 1833, M. Grasset vend à la commune une des dépendances pour y installer la première mairie-école. Pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, des fenêtres sont ouvertes dans les soubassements. |
